UNIQUE RUGBY STORE LAUNCHED

July 15, 2008 · Leave a Comment

A new Rugby Union store has been launched. Through the sale of its goods, the heavensgame store offers exclusive apparel that will also benefit Rugby charities.

For a number of years, Heavensgame.com has been a leading outlet for Rugby news across the globe. The site’s ethos has been to give equal coverage to Rugby in the lower profile countries as it does for the higher profile Rugby playing nations – such as England or New Zealand. As site owner Jeremy Beynon explains, “www.heavensgame.com was founded on the principle of equality and beneficence. From the start we traded advertising space for free rugby gear to be sent to less fortunate people. When we opened this online store, the natural progression for us as a company was to offer a piece of the sales profits to a Rugby charity. We have chosen www.friendsofrwandanrugby.org as our initial recipient”.

Katherine Brennan, editor of www.heavensgame.com noted “Through our apparel, we will quickly line up the two sides of the business. Our next batch of exclusive clothing will focus around the traditions of some of the lesser known unions”. Brennan added “We are also proud to point out that we stock a fair trade Rugby ball, which is the equal of any ball on the market. We now hope to expand to promoting replica jerseys from some developing countries as we hope this will provide these clubs with an added income stream”.

Whilst the online store is a new venture for the Rugby news specialists, it has a clear path ahead and will only stand to serve the Rugby community well for years to come.

Tri Nations Rugby All Blacks and Springboks play out another classic

July 13, 2008 · Leave a Comment

There is not too much to add to the title of this post.

Both sides, once again, produced great rugby. Some of the best seen in Dunedin in years or any rugby pitch in the world.

You have to wonder how the Sprinboks will raise themselves for the next tri nations rugbymatch against the Wallabies though?

Perhaps the Wallabies will undo the significance of this win with a surprise victory of their own.
